Ingle Farm is a well-established residential suburb approximately 12 kilometres north-east of Adelaide's CBD in the City of Salisbury. Developed primarily in the 1960s and 1970s, it is characterised by neat brick-veneer homes on 600–800m² blocks, mature street trees, and good access to both the Main North East Road and the O-Bahn corridor. It is not a suburb that generates headlines, but it is consistently popular with families and investors for its practicality, proximity to Tea Tree Plaza, and relative affordability within a reasonable commute of the CBD.
The soils across Ingle Farm are predominantly flat, moderately reactive clay — somewhat less extreme in reactivity than the deep plains soils further north, but still requiring proper base preparation for all flatwork. Many homes here have original concrete driveways from the 1960s–1980s that are showing age: tree root intrusion, surface scaling, panel separation at joints, and low-grade cracking are common presentations. Replacement is almost always more cost-effective than repair at this age, and a new concrete driveway meaningfully improves both the property's appearance and its market value.
A significant number of Ingle Farm homeowners request side-by-side driveway and alfresco upgrades as part of renovation projects. The combination of a new exposed aggregate or coloured driveway with a matching alfresco slab is one of the most effective ways to update the appearance of a 1970s brick home without a full renovation, and it is consistently one of our most quoted project types across the Salisbury LGA.
The City of Salisbury requires council approval for any new or modified driveway crossover from the kerb. We prepare and submit this application on your behalf as part of the standard driveway package. Processing typically takes 10–15 business days for standard residential applications.
Common projects in Ingle Farm: full driveway replacement; new alfresco or entertaining slabs; pool surrounds; concrete paths and step entries; and shed slabs. Call 0466 801 058 for a free on-site assessment and written quote within 48 hours.

|---|---|
| Plain grey broom | $75–$95 / m² |
| Coloured / oxide concrete | $95–$120 / m² |

We live in a city of hills, sloping blocks and soil that loves to slide after a big winter storm. That’s why Opal SA Construction builds Adelaide retaining walls that hold back earth, channel water and still look like a garden feature not a fortress. From a neat garden edge in Prospect to a two metre wall taming a Marion hillside, we pour concrete, stack stone and add colour so your yard stays put and looks the part. One local crew, one fixed price, one rock solid wall, guaranteed for life.

Installation
Pick a date and we’ll be there with shovels, laser levels and a playlist you can actually hum along to. We dig, set steel posts, pour the concrete or stack the stone, back-fill with free-draining gravel and shape the wall so it follows your garden’s natural lines.
Maintenance
Every couple of years we’ll ping you with a quick text: “Ready for a pressure-wash and fresh seal?” Ten minutes with a hose, a stiff broom and our DIY kit keeps moss and salt marks away. Or we’ll swing by while you’re at work, job, no fuss.
Repair
Crack from tree roots, bulge from water build up or chipped cap from the teenager’s skateboard? We cut out the damaged section, match the color and texture, then patch and reseal so the repair disappears and your lifetime warranty stays rock solid.

Designed by locals, built for locals: We turn up in a dusty ute, coffee in hand, and walk your block with you. We check the slope, poke the soil and sketch a wall that sits right, drains right and looks like it grew there.
Strong and pretty: Sure, it has to hold back a hill of clay, but it should also frame your roses. We blend steel, concrete and stone.
Peace of mind promise: Every block is engineered, every post is steel-reinforced and every pour is signed off by our ticketed crew. If it shifts or leaks, we’re back no arguments, no extra invoices.

Turn steep into useful: A slope that once spilled soil onto the lawn becomes a flat veggie patch, a fire pit deck or extra play space for the kids. We laser-level every footing and add hidden drainage so the new terrace stays level and solid.
Stop erosion in its tracks: Adelaide storms can send a hillside sliding. Our walls are built with weep holes and free draining gravel that take the pressure off the soil behind them so your garden (and your neighbor's fence) stays put.
Your wall, your style: Plain grey for a clean look, charcoal for a modern edge, exposed aggregate for texture, or stone veneer for rustic charm. The color runs right through the concrete, so chips never show.
Low upkeep, long life: No repainting, no replacing rotten sleepers. A quick sweep and hose once a year is all it takes. The sealed surface shrugs off salt, sun and soil movement for decades.
